Armenia has conveyed written proposals to Azerbaijan about the logic of continuation of the delimitation process and is waiting for a response, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said.
“We have conveyed in a written form our proposal about the logic of continuation of the delimitation to Azerbaijan and we are waiting for their response. The proposals are about the following, with which logic and in which part we can continue,” Pashinyan told reporters on Wednesday.
He reminded that there was a common understanding that the delimitation would continue from north to south.
“Now the issue is in which part from north to south to implement [delimitation]. We have presented our views and we are waiting for Azerbaijan’s response,” the Prime Minister said.
He said there was no deadlock and that his administration will consistently work in the direction of continuing the delimitation.
Armenia and Azerbaijan earlier completed the delimitation of a 12km section of their border in the Tavush direction.
