2025 IIHF World Championship Division IV: Armenia scores second consecutive victory

Armenia scored its second consecutive victory at the 2025 IIHF World Championship Division IV international ice hockey tournament in Yerevan, defeating Uzbekistan 3–2 with overtime GWS. 

The game was a 2:2 tie but Armenia’s Kovalenko and Kuznetsov scored 1 overtime goal each during the shootouts, securing Armenia’s victory. 

Armenia goalkeeper Artyom Putulian delivered a praiseworthy performance, notably two saves during the overtime. 

Armenia is now leading the standings with 6 points.

Armenia’s latest win comes after its spectacular 24:3 victory against Malaysia.
