Weightlifter Garnik Cholakyan wins bronze at European Championships

Armenian weightlifter Garnik Cholakyan has won the bronze medal at the European Weightlifting Championship held in Moldova.

Cholakyan, a member of the Armenian national team, had only one successful attempt in the snatch, lifting 124 kg, earning a small silver medal.

In the clean and jerk, he managed to lift the barbell only once, fixing 151 kg.

With a total of 275 kg in the combined event, Garnik Cholakyan secured the bronze medal at the European Championship.
