As part of his working visit to the United Arab Emirates, the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, met with the Chief Executive Officer of Masdar, Mohammed Jameel Al Ramahi.
According to a social media post by Minister Papoyan, they discussed the establishment of a solar power station in Armenia by Masdar and approved the roadmap for the upcoming works. The parties have reached an agreement that the construction of the industrial-scale Ayg-1 solar photovoltaic project in Armenia will begin in early 2026, and all preparatory work will have been completed by then.
“We both highly appreciated the results of the negotiations,” Papoyan has posted.
