Armenia’s Economy Minister, UAE counterpart discuss strengthening bilateral economic ties

The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia, Gevorg Papoyan, is participating in the “Annual Investment Forum” in Abu Dhabi, the UAE.
On the sidelines of the visit, Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan met with the Minister of Economy of the UAE, Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, Papoyan has announced on social media.
"We focused on the development of economic ties between Armenia and the UAE, the increase in trade volumes, and the opportunities for cooperation between the business communities of the two countries. I presented to my counterpart the factors contributing to Armenia's economic attractiveness, the programs initiated by the Armenian government, and the available investment opportunities," Papoyan has posted.
Particular attention was paid to opportunities for cooperation in the fields of tourism, renewable and green energy, as well as the Crossroads of Peace project.
