Paruyr Hovhannisyan appointed Armenia’s Permanent Representative to the UN

By a decree of the Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan, Paruyr Hovhannisyan has been appointed as the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Armenia to the United Nations (residing in New York).
According to the official website of the President of Armenia, by another decree, Mher Margaryan has been recalled from the post of Permanent Representative to the United Nations. He had held the position since his appointment on August 13, 2018.
By a decision of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Paruyr Hovhannisyan was relieved of his duties.
