Armenian Ambassador to France, Macron’s advisor discuss cooperation, EU ties

Armenian Ambassador to France Arman Khachatryan has met with President Emmanuel Macron’s diplomatic advisor Emmanuel Bonne.
In a readout, the embassy said the ambassador and the French official were pleased to underscore the highest-level active and continual political dialogue as well as the productive and constantly developing cooperation in strategic directions between the two countries.
Speaking about the latest developments in the South Caucasus region, the ambassador lauded President Macron’s reaction to the finalization of the Armenia-Azerbaijan negotiations around the terms of the peace agreement, where the French leader welcomed the conclusion and stressed the importance of signing the agreement for achieving lasting peace.
Ambassador Khachatryan and Emmanuel Bonne also discussed other geopolitical issues, the Armenia-France relations and the Armenia-EU ties.
