Armenian Deputy PM, Vietnamese counterpart discuss bilateral cooperation

Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan met with a delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Tran Hong Ha.

According to the Armenian Government, welcoming the guest, the Deputy Prime Minister commended the visit of such a representative delegation from Vietnam to Armenia and highlighted the significance of developing relations between the two countries in areas of mutual interest.

The meeting focused on the possibilities of enhancing trade and economic relations, including within the framework of the implementation of the free trade agreement signed between the EAEU and Vietnam. Possible cooperation in the field of high-tech industry, as well as the need to activate contacts between people and business circles for the development of tourism were among the issues discussed at the meeting.

Both parties emphasize the importance of the activities of the intergovernmental commission and discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation within its framework.
