Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry meets with Estonian FM

Armenian Minister of High-Tech Industry Mkhitar Hayrapetyan has met with Estonia’s Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna. 

The Armenian minister is visiting Estonia to become acquainted with the leading experience in digitization.

During the meeting the Armenian minister and Estonian FM discussed the broad agenda of cooperation that has been developed as a result of previous visits, meetings and discussions. They attached importance to the potential for developing bilateral ties, continuous exchange of experience, development of joint projects and exploring new opportunities for cooperation, the Ministry of High-Tech Industry said in a readout.

The main directions of the bilateral agenda, particularly digitization, cybersecurity and AI regulations, were also discussed. The need for more effective cooperation in these areas was underscored.

After the meeting the Armenian delegation participated in discussions at the Estonian foreign ministry where leading digital solutions in various public administration sectors were presented.
