Armenia, IMF discuss further cooperation

The Chairman of the Standing Committee on Financial, Credit, and Budgetary Issues of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, Tsovinar Vardanyan, on Tuesday met with a delegation led by the Head of the Armenian Mission of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Iva Petrova.
During the meeting, the implementation of measures outlined in the current IMF program was discussed. Both sides expressed their willingness to strengthen their partnership.
The discussion covered prospects for cooperation with the IMF, opportunities for tax sector reforms, the effective implementation of budget expenditures, public-private partnerships, improvements in state support programs, various fiscal policy initiatives, and other issues related to financial sector reforms and risks.
