Yerevan, Leipzig sign cultural cooperation agreement

Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan and mayor of the German city of Leipzig Burkhard Jung have signed an agreement on promoting cultural exchanges.

The agreement On Organizing a Cultural Year Between the Cities of Yerevan and Leipzig was signed during German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier’s visit.

The initiative is aimed at promoting cultural exchanges and strengthening collegial ties between the two cities through joint projects and events.
