Five injured in Amsterdam knife attack

Five people have been wounded in a stabbing in central Amsterdam and one person has been arrested, Telegraph reported.

A section of the Dutch capital’s historic centre was closed off on Thursday afternoon after the stabbing, which reportedly happened outside a fabric store near Dam Square.

“We currently have no information about the cause or motive of the stabbing incident. This is part of our investigation,” a police statement said.
