Armenian ambassador, Uruguay’s President of Chamber of Representatives discuss bilateral ties

Armenian Ambassador to Uruguay Mariam Gevorgyan has met with the President of the Chamber of Representatives, the lower house of the Uruguayan legislature, Sebastián Valdomir, to discuss bilateral ties and other matters, the embassy said on Wednesday.

During the meeting Ambassador Gevorgyan and Sebastián Valdomir discussed several issues pertaining to the agenda of bilateral relations, including the opportunities for strengthening interparliamentary ties, the embassy said in a readout.

The Ambassador also presented the latest developments in the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process.
