Iranian Foreign Minister meets Parliament Speaker, impressed by visit to Yerevan

The Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Abbas Araghchi being in Armenia on an official visit.

Simonyan noted that the bilateral relations built on mutual respect and trust with friendly Iran are of great importance for Armenia. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran in his turn thanked the Armenian Parliamet Speaker for warm reception, noting that he is very impressed with his visit to Armenia, the Parliament has said in a statement.

The interlocutors discussed a number of issues of bilateral interest regarding the inter-parliamentary cooperation, as well as the regional developments.
