Prime Minister Pashinyan sends Independence Day greetings to Greek counterpart

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan congratulated Prime Minister of Greece Kyriakos Mitsotakis on Independence Day.

“I cordially congratulate you and the brotherly Greek people on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Hellenic Republic, wishing your country peace and prosperity,” Pashinyan said in a letter sent to Mitsotakis. “Greece not only has an exclusive role as the cradle of democracy, but is presently also a bright example of parliamentary democracy. We highly appreciate Greece’s support for the ongoing democratic reform process in Armenia, as well as the further deepening of Armenia-EU partnership. The Armenia-Greece friendship is based on the unwavering friendship, mutual respect and trust of the two brotherly peoples. I am sure that soon the potential for multi-sector cooperation between our two countries will be maximally utilized through joint projects, elevating it to a strategic level for the benefit and welfare of the two peoples. With expectation to meet soon, please accept, Your Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
