Financially Literate with Idram Junior
3 minute read

Idram's financial literacy campaign continues in educational institutions across Armenia. Recently, another seminar was held at the Ohanyan Educational Complex, where students were introduced to important and necessary information about smart money management and the importance of saving. Children received a detailed explanation of the most common types of financial fraud, how to recognize them, and the rules for protecting themselves.
According to Tatevik Vardevanyan, Head of Communications and Corporate Social Responsibility Programs at Idram and IDBank, the topic of financial literacy is not only important and relevant but also highly engaging for children:
"As you may know, various government programs and initiatives are being implemented in the Republic of Armenia to promote financial literacy among schoolchildren. Particularly significant and effective are the efforts of the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, and the Central Bank of Armenia aimed at enhancing financial literacy among students.
As a stakeholder, Idram, guided by the provisions of the RA Government’s National Strategy for Financial Education, is also making a modest contribution to raising the financial literacy level of the population, including schoolchildren.
It should be noted that one of the key directions of our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy is financial literacy, which we consider one of the foundations for a stable and secure society. Today's event is one of many, and this series will continue. We are confident that the knowledge shared with children will play a vital role in their future,” said Tatevik Vardevanyan.
One of the special guests at the event was Idram Junior, who children always enjoy interacting with. The first and only financial app for children in Armenia, created to promote financial literacy among youth, has already become a beloved and trusted companion for kids in the world of finance.
You too can join Junior on a fun and exciting journey by simply downloading the app onto your children's smartphones. With the Idram Junior app, children can access non-cash funds, make contactless payments, save money, and learn financial literacy, while parents can monitor their children's financial activity using a modern and secure tool.
