Speaker of Parliament raises issue of illegal trials of Armenians in Azerbaijan with Mexican counterpart

Armenian National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan, being in Strasbourg on a working visit, met with the President of the Senate of Mexico Gerardo Fernández Noroña, according to a readout issued by the Armenian parliament’s press service.

The parties  discussed a wide scope of issues regarding the inter-parliamentary cooperation, as well as the Armenian-Mexican agenda.

Simonyan also drew his colleague’s attention to the illegal trials of Armenians being held in Azerbaijan.
