Moscow has called on Yerevan and Baku "to immediately implement the trilateral agreements."
The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that Moscow is concerned about frequent reports of tension on the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, amid news of progress on the peace agreement.
"We consistently call on the parties to exercise restraint, avoid any actions that could lead to escalation, and resolve all emerging issues exclusively through peaceful, political-diplomatic means," Zakharova said.
When asked about possible CSTO support in the event of Azerbaijani aggression against Armenia, Zakharova noted that Russia's commitments to Armenia within the CSTO framework remain in force. However, she added that Armenia's decision to freeze its participation does not contribute to strengthening security.
