Minister Mkrtchyan, French counterpart discuss strengthening cooperation

Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan met with French Minister of Labor and Employment Astrid Panosyan-Bouvet.

According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, the meeting focused on expanding cooperation in social protection, particularly in the areas of labor, employment, and women's issues.

Minister Mkrtchyan outlined sectoral priorities and upcoming reforms, presenting the Employment Strategic Plan for 2025-2031 and planned initiatives.

During the discussion, both sides highlighted the importance of collaboration between Armenia's Unified Social Service and France's social services provider.

They also considered the possibility of signing a joint memorandum in the field of labor and social protection.
