Luxembourg has welcomed the conclusion of the peace treaty talks between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
In a statement on X, Luxembourg’s foreign minister Xavier Bettel said the signing of the treaty will be a “decisive step towards full normalization.”
“Luxembourg welcomes the statements of both Armenia and Azerbaijan on the conclusion of a bilateral peace agreement between them. Its swift signature will be a decisive step towards full normalization of relations between the two countries and the stability of the region,” Xavier Bettel, Luxembourg’s Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade & Minister for Cooperation said.

Its swift signature will be a decisive step towards full normalization of relations between the two countries and the stability of the region.
The governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan announced on March 13 that the negotiations around the peace treaty have been successfully concluded. The Armenian government has expressed readiness to start discussions with Azerbaijan around the date and location of signing the agreement.
