Sweden has welcomed the conclusion of the talks around the peace treaty text between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
In a statement on X, the Swedish foreign ministry called for a swift signing of the peace treaty.
“Sweden welcomes the news that Armenia and Azerbaijan have agreed on the text of a peace treaty and encourages a swift signing to contribute to lasting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region,” the Swedish foreign ministry said.

The governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan announced on March 13 that the negotiations around the peace treaty have been successfully concluded. The Armenian government has expressed readiness to start discussions with Azerbaijan around the date and location of signing the agreement.
