EU monitoring mission in Armenia denies Azeri accusations of border shooting

The EU monitoring mission (EUMA) announced that no unusual activity was observed during a border patrol on 16-17 March, effectively denying the Azerbaijani accusations of border shootings. 

“On 16-17 March, EUMA dispatched patrols to various locations along the AM-AZ border. The situation remains calm and quiet, with no unusual activity observed,” EUMA said in a post on X.

On March 16, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, for three times falsely accused Armenia of firing at its military positions along the border. The Armenian Defense Ministry labeled the accusations as disinformation.
