In 2024 Armenia dynamically deepened its relationship with France, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has said.
Speaking about Armenia-EU cooperation at a parliamentary committee hearing about the 2024 government report, Mirzoyan highlighted cooperation with France in particular.
“In 2024, we continued to very dynamically deepen and enhance our relationship with France,” he said.
The Foreign Minister emphasized that Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited France three times in 2024, and another three meetings were held in multilateral platforms. Mirzoyan said he met with the French Foreign Minister for three times as well. Mutual visits of the Defense Ministers took place last year as well.
Speaking about the development of ties with France, Mirzoyan said, “We are working to supplement the existing, traditionally very warm relationship with specific programs, specific directions of cooperation. Some are already visible, while the others, I hope, will be visible soon.”
