Lithuania hopes to see swift signing of peace agreement between Armenia, Azerbaijan

Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys has welcomed the finalization of peace treaty negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“Lithuania welcomes the news on the finalisation of negotiations between Armenia and Azerbaijan. This is a major step toward peace and stability in the region. Hope to see the swift signing of the peace agreement,” FM Budrys said in a post on X.

The governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan announced on March 13 that the negotiations around the peace treaty have been successfully concluded. The date and location of signing the agreement is yet to be determined.
