Magnitude 3,2 aftershock hits near Spitak

A magnitude 3,2 aftershock was registered Saturday morning an hour after the magnitude 4,6 earthquake near the town of Spitak.

In a statement, the ministry of interior said the magnitude 3,2 aftershock hit at 10:31, some 9km north of Spitak, at a depth of 10km.  The aftershock measured 4 on the MSK scale.

It was felt at an intensity of MSK 2-3 in Spitak, Stepanavan and Vanadzor in Lori Province.
