Wrestling Federation of Armenia extends condolences over passing of legendary Buvaisar Saitiev

Wrestling legend, three-time Olympic gold medalist and six-time world champion Buvaisar Saitiev passed away Sunday. He was 49 years old.
The Wrestling Federation of Armenia extended condolences to the Russian athlete’s family in a condolence message published Monday.
The federation described Saitiev as one of the best wrestlers of all time. “Not only was he one of the greatest wrestlers of all time, but also an exclusive athlete whose devotion and mastery left an unforgettable trace in the history of wrestling. On behalf of the Wrestling Federation of Armenia, we express our sincere condolences to his family, friends and the entire wrestling family. His name will always remain in the history of our sport, inspiring the future generations. Rest in peace, legend,” the Wrestling Federation of Armenia said in a statement.
