Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs and Head of the Rescue Service Kamo Tsutsulyan has met with chargé d'affaires of China in Armenia Chen Ming.
The Armenian official and the Chinese diplomat discussed the need for strengthening cooperation in the areas of emergency situations civil protection and disaster risk management, and the necessity to take steps in the direction of joint work.
Issues pertaining to intensification of cooperation and exchange of experience in disaster risk management between the Armenian Ministry of Internal Affairs Rescue Service and China’s Civil Affairs Ministry were discussed.
The sides agreed to continue cooperation for the benefit of increasing resilience of the two countries and perfecting the effective response mechanisms.
