Armenian official, Lithuanian FM discuss security challenges

Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan spoke by phone with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania Kęstutis Budrys.
The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry said in a readout that the two officials “discussed security challenges in the Baltic Sea and South Caucasus regions.”
Foreign Minister Budrys urged Armenia to continue democratic reforms and confirmed that Lithuania is ready to continue sharing its experience in diversifying the economy and energy sectors, developing a national crisis management system, and increasing the country's resilience to external threats, the Lithuanian foreign ministry said.
The ministry said that on February 24–28, representatives of the Armenian Security Council, Customs and Border Guard Service will be on a study visit to Lithuania, during which they will be introduced to the functioning of Lithuania's integrated border management system and the model for ensuring effective border protection.
