Government’s target of annual average 7% growth secured, says Pashinyan

Armenia’s economic growth has been ensured by the pace envisaged in the government program, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said. 

“According to the data published by the Statistical Committee, Armenia recorded 5,9% economic growth in 2024,” Pashinyan said at the Cabinet meeting on Thursday. “Let me remind that the goal we have set in the 2021 parliamentary elections was to secure an average of 7 percent annual economic growth. 5,8% growth was recorded in 2021, and 12,6% in 2022, and 8,3% in 2023. Therefore, our target indicator, the annual average 7 percent economic growth has been secured,” Pashinyan said.
