Economic activity index grows 7,1%

The economic activity index in Armenia grew 7,1% in January 2025 compared to January 2024, according to official data published by the Statistical Committee.

Below is the YoY data for January 2025.

Industrial production output dropped 10,4%.

Construction grew 11,6%.

Trade turnover grew 9,9%.

Services increased 12,6%.

The consumer price index grew 1,7%, while the industrial product price index grew 2,8%. Electricity production grew 7,8%.

Foreign trade dropped 40% (Exports dropped 49,2% while imports dropped 33,5%.)
