Zelenskyy holds conversation with Trump during G7 meeting

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a conversation with US President Donald Trump during a G7 meeting, according to Zelenskyy's X.

"It was a productive meeting, with principled words from the majority by most of our partners. We strongly count on the unity of the world—Europe, America, all parts of the world and nations who want to live in peace, based on predictable rules and international law.

We all strive for peace and want to make it as reliable and lasting as possible. Today, we discussed the need for security guarantees for Ukraine and real ways to ensure an end to this Russian aggression and prevent any new one. Peace is needed,'' Zelenskyy has posted.
