Armenia defeated Liechtenstein 6:1 in the UEFA Women's Nations League Matchday 1 match held in Armavir, Armenia.
Armenia’s Maral Artin opened the score just 7 minutes into the game, followed by another goal by Oksanna Pizlova just minutes afterwards.
The first half-time ended 3:0 after Lara Kazanchian’s goal in the 44th minute. Kazanchian delivered a spectacular performance by scoring two more goals in the second half-time, marking the first-ever hat-trick in the Armenian women's football team.
In the second half-time, Anna Dallakian’s penalty kick goal brought the score to 4:0 but a minute later Liechtenstein’s Katarina Risch scored her team’s first and only goal. Kazanchian then scored Armenia’s 5th goal.
Another goal by Kazanchian in the 71st minute brought the score to 6:1, marking the biggest victory of the Armenian women's football team.
The next match is scheduled for February 25 vs Kazakhstan.
