Pashinyan to hold meeting with business executives

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said Monday he would organize a meeting with business executives to discuss reforms.

“We are all aware of the existing flaws in the administration sector, no one denies it,” Pashinyan said in a statement on social media.

He said there is a need to discuss the existing issues and opportunities in the economic activity and investment environment, reforms priorities and increase of the administration effectiveness through a joint format between the Cabinet, the parliament, the local self-governing bodies and business communities, and to make joint decisions.

Pashinyan said executives of companies that have paid at least 50 million drams in taxes in 2024 and who are interested in sharing ideas about making the business climate more favorable are invited to participate in the workshop.

Heads of business unions are also invited.

Applications can be sent to [email protected] by February 28. Applications should include up to three issues pertaining to the meeting’s subject, while most mentioned ones will become part of the workshop agenda.

The workshop will be held in April.
