US Vice President JD Vance after his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, emphasized that Washington's goal is not only to end the war but also to secure lasting peace in Europe.
“We want the war to end, we want the killings to stop, and we are committed to achieving lasting peace, not allowing a new conflict to arise in Europe in a few years,” RBC-Ukraine quoted him as saying.
US Vice President JD Vance noted that the US and Ukraine maintain an intensive dialogue aimed at fulfilling this goal. Vance added that they had engaged in productive discussions on how to accomplish this together, and these talks will continue in the coming days, weeks, and months.
