Armenian government signs cooperation agreement with Mistral AI

The Armenian Ministry of High-Tech Industry has signed an agreement with Mistral AI, a French artificial intelligence company, to promote joint initiatives in AI.

The agreement was signed on February 10 in Paris by First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Gevorg Mantashyan and Mistral AI CEO Arthur Mensch. 

Mantashyan said the cooperation is an important factor for the development of a strong ecosystem that would involve talented professionals and utilize AI solutions to ensure more effective and swift administration.

Mistral AI CEO Arthur Mensch lauded the growing Armenian AI ecosystem and said he is proud to be able to support Armenia’s public administration system, startups and talents.

The agreement envisages the improvement of Armenian AI infrastructures, support for AI-based business solutions and improvement of public administration through the AI-based GovTech program, utilizing the French company’s experience.
