President of Armenia, Iran Ambassador discuss bilateral partnership and cooperation

President of Armenia Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Iran to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani.

According to the Presidential Office, President Khachaturyan welcomed the Ambassador and congratulated the Iranian people and leadership on the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution, wishing them success and prosperity.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of bilateral relations between Armenia and Iran, emphasizing the importance of expanding partnership and cooperation. They also touched upon the progress of joint projects in the economic, cultural, and transport sectors.

President Khachaturyan and Ambassador Sobhani underscored the need to strengthen and expand ties between the two countries, highlighting the importance of ongoing efforts to further develop bilateral cooperation in line with the high level of mutual understanding and mutually beneficial partnership.
