Iran’s Supreme Leader pardons 3,000 convicts on the eve of the Revolution anniversary

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, has authorized the full or partial pardoning of over 3,000 convicts on the 46th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

According to Iranian media, Ayatollah Khamenei agreed to the request of Judiciary Chief Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei to grant amnesty, reduce, or commute the sentences of 3,126 convicts.
