Armenia appoints new ambassadors to Tajikistan and the Philippines

By decrees of the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vahagn Khachaturyan, new ambassadors have been appointed to Tajikistan and the Philippines, and the Ambassador of Armenia to Cyprus has been recalled.

According to the Presidential office, Armen Ghevondyan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Kazakhstan, has been concurrently appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Tajikistan (residence: Astana). 

Suren Baghdasaryan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Vietnam, has been concurrently appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to the Philippines (residence: Hanoi).

By another decree, the President of the Republic of Armenia recalled Tigran Mkrtchyan from his post as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia to Cyprus.
