Armenia has always taken into account the interests of its partners in cooperations and will continue doing so, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has said.
Pashinyan made the comments at a press conference on January 31 when asked about the recently signed strategic partnership charter between Armenia and the United States, specifically the upcoming arrival of a U.S. customs and border security team.
PM Pashinyan said that Armenia and the U.S. are cooperating in various directions, including in reforms and capacity building of state structures.
“We are balancing and diversifying our relations there too. It’s not like that team is going to come with rifles, it could also be consultative work. But I’d like to say that in the cooperations we have taken into account the interests of our partners, and will continue doing so,” Pashinyan said.
