Armenian official, Hevolution Foundation CEO discuss cooperation

Armenian Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan has held a meeting in Saudi Arabia with Dr. Mehmood Khan, CEO of Hevolution Foundation.

The sides agreed to cooperation in the direction of Armenia’s 2024-2040 Demographic Improvement Strategy, with special focus on promoting active ageing and prevention of premature deaths, the ministry said in a readout. 

Possibilities of support for capacity building and research assistance of the newly opened Center of Demographic Studies at the Yerevan State University were discussed.

Hevolution Foundation is a first of its kind global non-profit organization that provides grants and early-stage investments to incentivize independent research and entrepreneurship in the emerging field of healthspan science. It is headquartered in Riyadh with a North America hub and plans to open offices in other global locations. The vision of the organization is to extend healthy lifespan for the benefit of all humanity.

Dr. Mehmood Khan attached importance to Armenia’s participation in the Global Healthspan 2025 summit.
