Pashinyan congratulates new Prime Minister of Bulgaria on election

Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan has congratulated Rosen Zhelyazkov on his election as Prime Minister of Bulgaria.

“On behalf of the government of Armenia I cordially congratulate you on your election as Prime Minister of the Republic of Bulgaria,” PM Pashinyan said in a letter addressed to Zhelyazkov. “I am convinced that under your skilled governance the friendly Bulgaria will continue its progress and have numerous achievements. I am glad to note that the history of the interstate relations between Armenia and Bulgaria is characterized by the bilateral and multilateral cooperation based on age-old friendship of our peoples, common values, cultural closeness, mutual trust and mutual benefits, with you personally having great contribution in the steady development of the cooperation. Armenia highly appreciates Bulgaria’s continuous support to the advancement of the Armenia-EU agenda and stands ready for more active cooperation with Bulgaria.
