The Pashinyan Administration has increased pensions five times since taking office in 2018.
As a result, the minimum pension has doubled, while average pension has increased around 22%, PM Nikol Pashinyan said in a post on Facebook.
“Since the 2018 revolution the government made decisions to increase pensions five times,” Pashinyan said.
“In addition, in case of non-cash trade, the cashbacks paid to pensioners since 2022 amounted to 16 billion 500 million drams,” he said, adding that the number of persons using the system has been growing and comprised 289,813 people as of December 2024.
