The First Deputy Minister of Defense and Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Edward Asryan, held bilateral meetings at NATO headquarters with the chiefs of defense staff of Greece and Georgia, as well as private talks with the chiefs of defense staff of France and Sweden.
According to the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, a high level of bilateral cooperation in defense was noted with the counterparts from Greece and France.
Lieutenant General Edward Asryan also highly appreciated the contributions of Athens and Paris to the ongoing efforts to transform and develop the Armenian Armed Forces.
According to the ministry, practical ways to enhance bilateral cooperation were discussed with the Georgian counterpart. It is noted that ideas were exchanged with the Swedish representative on the possibilities of establishing bilateral relations in the defense sector.
