Strategic partnership with U.S. essential for navigating complex geopolitical landscape, says Armenian FM

Armenia-U.S. relations have matured to a point where upgrading them to strategic partnership is not only fitting but essential for navigating the complex geopolitical landscape, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan has said.

“Armenia-U.S. relations have matured to a point where upgrading them to strategic partnership is not only fitting but essential for navigating the complex geopolitical landscape. Let the Armenia - U.S. Strategic Partnership Charter we signed with Secretary Blinken serve as a testament to the deepening relations between Armenia & the US & as a roadmap for a future filled with shared achievements,” he said on X.

On January 14, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken launched the U.S.-Armenia Strategic Partnership Commission.
