Armenian Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan has lauded the current level of defense cooperation with the United States and France.
Papikyan made the remarks at a press conference when asked about his 2024 trips to the United States and France.
“Both the Armenian-American and Armenian-French cooperation is aimed at increasing Armenia’s defense capabilities,” Papikyan said. “The United States supports the transformation of our armed forces as an advisor and supporter. I can say the same about France. I can only express satisfaction about the current state of our cooperation. The opportunities it provides are important for the institutional reforms of our military and creation of new [mechanisms]."
He highlighted the Non-Commissioned Officer (NCO) development objectives and policy.
