Catholicos Karekin II visits United States

Catholicos Karekin II of the Armenian Apostolic Church has departed to the United States on a pontifical visit.

In a press release, the Mother See said that Karekin II will attend the funeral of national benefactor Sarkis Bedevian.

In the Eastern Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America, the Catholicos will also meet representatives of diocesan and national organizations to discuss church programs.
