Russian, Iranian presidents to hold talks - Kremlin

YEREVAN, JANUARY 13, ARMENPRESS. Russian President Vladimir Putin will have talks with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, who will pay an official visit to Russia, on January 17, Interfax reported, citing the Kremlin press service.

According to the source, a discussion of the prospects of further expansion of bilateral cooperation, including in the trade, investment, transport, logistics and humanitarian spheres, as well as vital regional and international issues is envisaged.

At the end of the talks, Putin and Pezeshkian will sign a contract on comprehensive strategic partnership between Russia and Iran and will make statements for the media, the press service said.
