Pacific Palisades wildfire seen from Glendale but city is safe, says mayor Elen Asatryan

YEREVAN, JANUARY 11, ARMENPRESS. The wildfire seen over the hill from Glendale is actually the fire from Pacific Palisades, Glendale Mayor Elen Asatryan has said.

“We are completely fine and safe in the city of Glendale,” the Mayor told residents of Glendale on social media. 

“As a matter of fact, we downgraded our emergency operations level from level two to level three today. If anything changes you will be notified immediately,” Mayor Asatryan added.

The current wildfires in California are the most devastating wildfires in the state’s history. 11 people have died. Damages are estimated around 135-150 billion dollars.
