YEREVAN, JANUARY 8, ARMENPRESS. An Air Astana plane made an emergency landing at Aktau airport.
According to the airline's press service, on January 8, the Airbus A321 aircraft, flying flight KS915 on the route Almaty - Antalya, made an unscheduled landing in Aktau. The airliner, which took off from Almaty at 08:35 local time, landed at Aktau airport due to a malfunction of the central tank fuel system safety valve. The landing took place as usual.
According to the source, the flight is expected to take off again on Thursday due to the need for a spare part, which will be delivered from Almaty.
It added that the passengers of the delayed aircraft are being provided with meals and are being accommodated in hotels.
