YEREVAN, JANUARY 8, ARMENPRESS. The Armenian diplomatic representations in Syria have reopened after a brief suspension due to the latest developments in the country, FM Ararat Mirzoyan has said.

“We had a very brief absence during the latest developments in Syria. First our general consulate in Aleppo, then the staff of our embassy in Damascus had to be absent from Damascus and Aleppo for a few days, but then they continued their work in this hospitable country. We have established contacts with the new authorities and we will continue to work,” Mirzoyan said at a press conference.
